The City of Thomasville purchased APGA Calendars in both 2006 & 2007 to give out to our customers. These calendars are a great way to get out information to your customers about natural gas, gas safety and to let customers know that natural gas is available in the community. We have passed these out during fall “Natural Gas Week”. We put these in our cashiers department and they pass them out to customers that come inside or in the drive-thru to pay their bills. We also put some in our service trucks that our employees hand out when they make a service call to the customer’s home. This is an excellent way to communicate with your customers and these are very professional grade calendars. We will be purchasing calendars again this year.

Our customers are really appreciative of the APGA Calendars. Some were curious about the Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters after seeing them in the calendar and we receive comments on the great pictures. Our senior citizens like the size of the calendars and find them easy to read. The safety information and energy saving tips the calendars contain also allow us to implement them as a vital tool for our Public Awareness Program. We try to issue one calendar per household but many ask for extras for other family members so we have no problem with our distributions. We appreciate APGA and the great work you do!

Jefferson Cocke County is a small Utility and therefore, it was necessary to hold our calendar order down the 1st year. We were very pleased with the calendar when it arrived. We used the calendar for marketing. We handed it out to customers who bought appliances and our field engineers carried them to give to builders and new service line customers. The news got out and our walk-in customers started asking for them, and they went very quickly. We had many, many positive comments about the calendar. I will buy again this year. Just any ole plain calendar is expensive, but to have the added value of a customized calendar is wonderful. I highly recommend if you have not bought, try them you will like them!

Bay City Gas ordered several hundred of both 2006 and 2007 calendars for distribution to our customers. The very high quality of the calendar, the inclusion of our company name and logo, and the Public Awareness messages (RP1162 compliant) make this a valuable gift for our customers. The positive image of natural gas that is portrayed is a big help to us from a marketing standpoint, as we face volatile natural gas prices that are very noticeable to our customers. After the wonderful success of the 2006 calendars, our customers starting calling us in early fall of 2007 wanting to reserve a calendar! Several senior citizens have been so complimentary about the big spaces in which to write all of their appointments. Many comments have been made about the large and modern natural gas “lifestyle” pictures. Others love learning about new gas technology. (This calendar worked as the perfect give-away during our natural gas technology showcase during public natural gas week.)
This month (April) which publicizes Rinnai, works well with our current $500 incentive. I’ve decided to continue to match the incentive to the calendar picture as a great reminder of all the incentives, as well as to continually introduce gas appliances. Therefore, in May we will continue with our natural gas grill special!
Being able to include safety and public awareness materials is a great plus for me. I’m the one here that never sends out safety information (as in insert in our utility bills) without an incentive or marketing information on the back side.
The calendar is very professional and high quality and definitely gives us credibility as a successful system. We are so glad that they can be personalized with information about our four customer service centers.
